Resumen

 This paper explores ‘designing from handiness’ an evolving framework rooted in critical consciousness and local knowledge, developed through a collaborative process with the Secretaria de Habitat y Ordenamiento Territorial (SHOT) in Quito, Ecuador, under the Transition Design umbrella.
