Abstract

The fashion industry is at a historic turning point. The linear “take-make-dispose” model that has dominated for decades has become environmentally indefensible and is now being challenged by a new wave of regulation that began in the European Union, is spreading across U.S. states, and is already taking root in Latin America with Chile leading the way.
