Abstract

The municipality of Ecatepec de Morelos in the State of Mexico has been a place of significant historical importance throughout the centuries due to the indigenous peoples who settled there, as well as its rich cultural heritage. However, it is currently plagued by various problems, including violence, crime, and insecurity, and is currently under two gender alerts: one for femicides and another for missing women.
