Abstract

Research Project 4.4 continues the path of the inquiries developed in Projects 4.3, 4.2 and 4.1 (Cuadernos 87, 80 and 73), organized according to six thematic categories: Design for Transition, Biomimetics, Meta-design, Social Innovation, Collaborative Design and Circular Economy, studies how the scale of Design problems is changing, they are running more and more quickly from the level of objects and things (utilitarian), as well as their most decorative aspect (styling) and linking to emergencies and sustainability challenges –understood in all its dimensions– which demand from Design and Designers new approach methodologies that allow anticipating better scenarios.
