Jamlet de Villa Elvira: una experiencia en dramaturgia de la recepción desde el campo social popular
Abstract
The dramaturgy of the reception represents a vacancy area for investigations that intersect social communication and theater. The article delves into “Jamlet de Villa Elvira”, an artistic experience based on the Shakespearean classic, carried out by boys and girls from a theater group from a peripheral neighborhood of the city of La Plata (Argentina). It was born as part of the fieldwork for the doctoral thesis of the artist and researcher Blas Arrese Igor, to later exceed the academic limits promoting the generation of the Oriyero Theater Group. The experience carried out in Villa Elvira allows us to think about the powers of art on the margins, on the peripheries.
