Datos normativos para 180 sonidos afectivos de la versión expandida del International Affective Digitized Sounds (IADS-E) en una muestra argentina

Resumen

La versión Expandida del International Affective Digitized Sounds (IADS-E) es un corpus de estímulos auditivos con capacidad de inducir emociones en un contexto experimental. En Argentina existen validaciones de estímulos como imágenes o palabras. El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar los datos normativos para 180 sonidos del IADS-E. Los sonidos fueron calificados por 272 voluntarios utilizando el Self-Assessment Manikin (SAM), una medida de autoinforme que representa las tres dimensiones afectivas: valencia, activación y dominancia. Los resultados muestran puntuaciones con alta consistencia interna para valencia, activación y dominancia. Además, se encontró la típica distribución en forma de boomerang en el espacio afectivo bidimensional formado por la valencia y la activación. Por último, se compararon las puntuaciones afectivas según el sexo y el país de origen de los participantes. No se encontraron diferencias entre los grupos de hombres y mujeres. Los resultados que muestran diferencias significativas entre la muestra original y la argentina solo se encontraron en las dimensiones activación y dominancia.

Doctora en Psicologia, es una destacada investigadora con especialización en psicología biológica, emoción y ciencias cognitivas en general. Algunas de sus últimas publicaciones incluyen "FRN-like Components during Internally Guided Decision-making Using the Blind Choice Paradigm" donde se centra en el estudio de los componentes de la respuesta cerebral durante la toma de decisiones y la base IADS-E "Affective auditory stimulus database: An expanded version of the International Affective Digitized Sounds (IADS-E).", una herramienta util para inducción emocional en el laboratorio.
