Abstract

This work is defined as an exploratory study which aims to delineate the contents of the career program
of technomedial and/or electronic art in Argentina. The program will arise from the situational analysis of
the human being and the contemporary culture; the reasons for which artists enter to media as expressive
support and constituent of creation of the art work; and from the evaluation of theoretical and practical
proposals both educational cultural, local and international, that come define the field cut. The media
art work acquires through that support, technical and expressive qualities that are own of the “device”,
transfers to the field of art attributes of the topology of the interface and the communication, defining
it as a mediated and mediatic art. It is registered in the practices of conceptual art and its experimental
generation far from being static, proposes a relative universe as a fixed driver of the system.
