Abstract

Research Project 7.1 covers the concerns of Design professionals and academics, around economic, management and materialization issues of the products designed in recent times. One of the issues is the contribution of 3D printing and its formal possibilities, which has revolutionized industry and construction. These new production options have an impact on the economy, while raising new questions and reflections. Design, for its part, also contributes to the administration and management of organizations its own logic of thought in the creation and development of enterprises of all kinds. The relationship of Design with materiality, the economy, in connection with the environment and sustainability is explored from different perspectives.
