Cine, memoria y género, una perspectiva en crecimiento: Imaginario social y representación

Abstract

Research Project 14.3 presents an investigation related to the issue of gender in audiovisual discourse, alluding to the processes of identity construction. Gender is a category of analysis that in different branches of knowledge allows to expose representations, ideas and behaviors that have been built socially. Female participation is manifested through political, social and cultural organizations, fighting for equal rights and against patriarchal violence, a struggle that currently mobilizes women and men in most countries of the world. The symbolic systems in the processes of construction of historical memory linked to women are approached through audiovisual representations.
