Uma reflexão sobre metodologías para a investigação do design de materiais biofabricados
Abstract
The environmental problems resulting from pollution caused by the exacerbated production of consumer goods are increasingly impacting, incite a global concern for the environment and an incisive search for more sustainable solutions. In this context, materials research is at the heart of many recent solutions for product design more in line with a circular economy. This investigative line prioritizes the exploration of new approaches to the creation and production of materials from experimental practices, biofabrication and innovative resources. Bringing references about this emerging design practice, this text addresses methodologies based on experimental practice, through Practice-led research concepts, and through materials-oriented design, under the perspective of the Material Driven Design method.
