Uma reflexão sobre metodologías para a investigação do design de materiais biofabricados
Resumo
Cada vez mais impactantes, os problemas ambientais decorrentes da poluição causada pela produção exacerbada de bens de consumo, incitam uma preocupação mundial com o meio ambiente e uma busca incisiva por soluções mais sustentáveis. Neste contexto, a pesquisa de materiais está no cerne de muitas soluções recentes para um design de produtos mais alinhado à uma economia circular. Esta linha investigativa prioriza a exploração de novas abordagens para criação e produção de materiais a partir de práticas experimentais, biofabricação e recursos inovadores. Trazendo referências sobre esta prática projetual emergente, este texto aborda as metodologias baseadas na prática experimental, por meio de conceitos do Practice-led research, e pela design orientado por materiais, sob o olhar do método do Material Driven Design.
