The Journal exposes the conclusions that emerged from the international
colloquium “Borders & Migrations” that was organized by Retina International and was
held at the Faculty of Design and Communications of the University of Palermo. The
essays gathered in this publication explore in the analysis of the different phenomena
that arise from a wide concept of border and from the particularities of migrations. Ideas
and approaches converge about the impact on subjectivity and about how the aesthetic
experience is able to ask, to reveal the folds and interstices of the different associated
manifestations.
