Abstract

Research Project 18.1 presents and inaugurates research in the field of Game Studies in Latin America. It proposes in its journey an exhaustive and reflective panorama that covers the different axes that are addressed by academics, researchers, artists, developers and professionals who come to the world of videogames from different epistemologies. It has sought to work and account for the wide range of approaches, paradigmatic changes and new concepts that are emerging today, when video games are related to society. Thus, he realizes the relationships that can be established between videogames and narratives, visual arts and music, education, communication and science.
