Résumé

The aim of this paper is to analyze the incidence of familial component in
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Due to their participation in the economy, these
organizations are central to the generation of wealth and employment in our country.
However, some issues like professional management emerging models, the difficulties in
the transfer of power to the next generation and the lack of a strategic plan interfere in
their development and growth.
This article provides the management tools that facilitate the succession process and the
changes in the management of the Company as part of an orderly and systematic process.
