Contrahegemonía en la enseñanza del diseño: experiencias en asignaturas de diseño y género en tres países latinoamericanos
Abstract
Design, traditionally based on the practice of design as a means of realisation, was built on ethnocentric, patriarchal and colonial foundations and we have identified the after-effects of this model, especially in Latin American contexts, where its effects are found in societies with extreme social vulnerability, which cry out for different designs that consider diversity and otherness.
