Abstract

Research Project 3.1 presents and analyzes how advanced technology has been turning into virtual applications all our experience of contact with the real world, it seems to be positioning the industrial designer as a professional dedicated to a primitive practice, only redeemable in his modest role as operator of digital representation devices, or in the ambitious expression of the design of experiences. This trend is enhanced by the development of new materials, by the miniaturization to the emptiness of the artifacts and by the estrangement from reality that the new ecosystem of social networks produces. Assuming the conditions and opportunities of the moment, an attempt is made to approach the possible paths of action from different realities. Action on reality, on materials and on projects.
