Call for Papers for the Special Issue Quality of Life, Well-Being, and Happiness in Latin America.

Submissions are invited from papers presented at the Latin American Regional Conference of the International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies (ISQOLS), held at the University of Palermo (Buenos Aires, Argentina) from March 9 to 11, 2026. Participation in the conference is considered a valued, though non-exclusive, qualification; therefore, original contributions addressing general topics related to quality-of-life studies and allied fields are also welcome.

Papers written in Spanish or English will be eligible for submission to this special issue and will be subject to a double-blind peer-review process.

Submission deadline: June 30, 2026.

The Journal of Social Sciences is the academic journal of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Palermo, Argentina. It has been published semiannually since 2013 and receives original contributions including articles, essays, international debates, book reviews, recovered texts, and student contributions.
