Abstract

The year 2024 is presented as an election year in various countries around the world, so it opens up to the reflection of current trends in domestic and international politics, which in different cases adds the contribution of new voters. This election year was opened by elections in Asia, which bring to the center of the scene especially countries in the south of that continent, giving account of certain complex panoramas in terms of plural dynamics, persecution of candidates and political parties, the use of justice as an electoral “tool”, the reflection of international tensions in internal politics, etc. Considering the above, this text addresses the elections held in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Taiwan and Pakistan, describing the context of each of them and their respective scope.
