De la Rusia de nunca a la de siempre: política exterior entre 1992 y 2012
Abstract
The following paper describes the cycles of Russian foreign policy since the emergence of the Russian Federationas continuing State of theSoviet Union to the present. Importantly, these changes were associated with perceptions first (open distrust after) of the leadership inMoscow in relation to the purposes of theUnited States withRussia after the end of the Cold War. In other words, according Russia, West used dividends of the victory after almost half a century of confrontation, in order to slow or hinder the emergence of a new preeminent actor which could mean a new challenge to its primacy (unmatched and unrivaled after the end of bipolar conflict). In short, it’s a work that, in descriptive terms and following the classical model of international relations, describes the construction of power by an actor that will play a preeminent role in the international arena of the uncertain XXI century.
